mohican state park fly fishing jeanette

Trout fishing is a bit different than other types of fishing; mainly because these fish are found in small rivers and streams in many cases. Largemouth bass are one of the most popular types of fish in the United States.

Although it doesn't offer the same level of excitement that deep-sea fishing can offer, it does give me something that I desire, relaxation and enjoyment. For those who are new to the sport I can see why they may be confused as it is quite a large river and if you are not custom to reading water it will be intimidating. The first tip I have is for larger rivers and even lakes.

Those like me don't want to spend lots of money and time deciding on the perfect fly fishing equipment, they just want to get out there and do it. After you have your areas selected, you must really get an idea on the weather. And it was worth every minute of fishing and frustration along the way.

Just remember that if the fish are shallow and feeding you will need to put the bait where the fish are. And remember, always fish with a partner.
